The weekend started with a trip to the hospital for some blood work. I decided not to take any pictures. I'm sure you understand. After fasting for 12 hours I came home and made myself a delicious pepper, ham, egg and cheese omelette. Note to Steve Allan. This is how you cook eggs.
My godson, his brother and one of their friends helped me finish decorating for the holidays. The Christmas Tree is done and my god son might have come up with a new fashion idea in the process. I hope this one doesn't catch on. My kids always tell me I don't have to put up a tree anymore. I do it because they always tell me how nice everything looks when it's done.
Then it was a trip to the Rockaway Mall for our 2nd annual Gifts for Goldens. Our listeners took every ornament off the tree then purchased and donated the gifts requested. The giving spirit of 1023 WSUS listeners always amazes me. Now we will make sure everything donated gets wrapped and given to the residents of The Homestead Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.
The mall was packed while we were there. My friends Adam and Heather stopped by with some of their friends. So we took a group picture. I also found time to visit Victoria Secret and Lush to purchase a gift card and bath bombs for my daughter. Wow, those bath bombs are expensive. As far as Victoria's Secret goes: It's been a while since I've seen stuff like that!
