Sussex Tech senior George Bednarz was nominated by his sister and nephew. They surprised him with the news on Christmas Eve.
His career choice is welding. Every year he competes in the Skills USA welding competition. He has been on Sussex Tech's Cross Country Team for 4 years and Track Team for 3 years. He is currently Varsity Captain of the Cross Country Team.
During the off season George works two or three jobs. One of those jobs is serving sweet treats at Jefferson Dairy in the summer.
This fall he has been accepted at Hobart Institute in Ohio.
