First of all let me just say I vote yes! Big meetings here at our radio stations usually mean the company springs for pizza. The left over pizza winds up in the break room fridge. Which means it becomes my breakfast the next day. We haven't had a big meeting in a while. Maybe we should think of a reason to have one.
Popular dietician and blogger Chelsey Amer would concur pizza for breakfast is just fine. She says its a more balanced breakfast than sugary cereal and milk. Pizza has the same amount of calories but more protein which keeps us satisfied longer.
Other dieticians don't completely agree with Amer. Dietician Keri Gans says cereal is a "great option" to start your day off right. Just pick a cereal that's packed with fiber so you stay fuller longer. That fiber will also lower cholesterol and control blood sugar. If you top that cereal with fruit or nuts it's even better. Less greasy too.
OK maybe I'll alternate and make Chelsey and Keri happy. I'll have pizza one morning and a bowl of cereal the next!
