New Jersey quality of life ranked next to last

  Last summer I went to California. There's just too much traffic and everything costs too much. The study is probably right when it comes to quality of life out there. However, I think U.S. News is being pretty tough on New Jersey with this one. Their study ranked states in several different categories to reach it's "Quality of Life" conclusion. Healthcare, education and economy were among them. California got low marks for environmental quality and social engagement. The state of Iowa did best in the study. 

     All I can say is: "Are you kidding me!" Does Iowa have: Taylor Ham, the Sopranos, diners everywhere, Frank Sinatra and Bon Jovi? Why would anyone want to go to Iowa? There's only corn and the Herbert Hoover Presidential Library. Click to read more.
