Enjoy "Anything Goes" at High Point this Weekend

Every December kids from High Point High School's Chamber Singers and Jazz Ensemble perform during my Kid's Christmas Concert Series. We look forward to their performances every year. Many of the same talented kids will be singing and tap dancing at High Point High School this weekend.

Anything Goes is a 1934 musical with music and lyrics by Cole Porter.  The story centers around the amusing eccentric antics of passengers aboard an ocean liner traveling from New York to London.  The version the High Point students will be performing this weekend is based on the 1987 and 2011 "Anything Goes" revivals on Broadway.

Three of the cast members visited WSUS this week to record a Bright Highlight segment with me. Kenzie, Randi, Matt and the rest of the cast have been working hard since they returned from Christmas break. Their enthusiasm and smiles were great to see. I'm so happy to support all of these young performers.

There will be 3 performances this weekend: Friday at 7PM, Saturday at 7PM and Sunday at 2PM. You can buy tickets at the door or click here to get them now.
