My Weekend in 5 pictures

This weekend promised to be action packed and that it was. Since I knew I would be at my college radio station reunion on Saturday Night my weekend actually started in the yard. I got up early on Saturday, cut down the ugly invasive tree/vine near the pool. Then I raked and did spring cleaning in the front yard.  The leaves are all gone. Grow grass grow!

On Saturday Night it was on to the Grand Summit Hotel for the WSOU 70th Anniversary Dinner.  WSOU is Seton Hall University's radio station. The place where hundreds of broadcasters have started. I started at WSOU in 1980. It was great to see my long time friend and one time WSUS Morning Host Frank Garrity get inducted into the WSOU Hall of Fame.  Many current WSOU staff members were helping at the dinner as well. One of them was Dalton Allison who was a WSUS Transoptions Student of the Month last year.  I was so happy to find out he is a Freshman at Seton Hall and doing very well.

Reunions can be so overwhelming. I saw so many wonderful friends from my college days. Many other WSOU staff members who whose careers crossed paths with mine. There just wasn't enough time to spend with all of them.

On Sunday my plan was to sleep in and rest. At 9 o'clock I got a text from my cousin Tara.  Tara and her family were at Delaware Valley High School at a lacrosse tournament. Tara's son Chase plays several sports. Lacrosse is one of them.  By the time I got to the field Chase's first game was over. We were all hungry so we had a very nice lunch together at McDonald's.

The rest of Sunday I chilled and watched the Mets. Who are now 12 and 2.
