I got up early Saturday morning to get to Sussex County Community College's Spring Open House by 8:30. As I was getting ready I was surprised to see my son James was up already. He is an assistant coach in the Port Jervis Little League. He was up early to participate in opening day ceremonies. It was a great day for baseball. At Sussex County Community College I was right at the door as you came in. A great new spot for us. The students at the welcome table were really enjoying 1023 WSUS. They kept saying turn it up Steve!
Then Saturday Afternoon it was on to another live broadcast at Garick RV in Oak Ridge. It was their 35th anniversary celebration, free barbecue and open house. They had a lot of people there. They have over 100 RV's in stock. You can just park and look around. Two of the young ladies who were working at the grill wanted to take a picture with me. After I had a couple of delicious hot dogs we took the picture.
Finally on Sunday I got a chance to work around the house a little. After church I started to put fresh mulch on my flower beds. Then I did a little work inside. My old microwave cart that has seen better days is now history. I cleaned everything out of it and we carried it outside. I did find some nice beer glasses which are now Steve Allan's. Since he is starting to entertain more I know they will be put to good use.
