I hope all the moms I know had a happy Mother's Day. That includes Denise the mother of my 4 kids and my daughter Kim. Since Kim was on Long Island and our sons were working Mother's Day was pretty laid back. My ex wife has been sick for many years. My son Matt asked me to take his mom out to dinner and he would pay the check. James brought home dessert after he got home from work last night. Of course, I always think of my mom too. It's hard to believe this is the 8th Mother's Day she has not been with us. I wake up every morning knowing she and my dad are watching over us.
The big weekend project was removing and replacing the 21 year old through the wall air conditioner in my kitchen. It was pretty much rusted in there but after loosening a few screws and a good hard push we got it out. It took three people. Then it was off to the dump. Now there's a new air conditioner in it's place. Which hopefully will last another 20 years.
I traveled to Ramsey to do a live broadcast Saturday Afternoon. The people who worked in the Sprint Store were a lot of fun. There were cupcakes and brownies. They want us to come back soon. When I got home Saturday Afternoon I was thrilled to see my Passport had arrived. Pretty soon a cruise or a trip to Ireland might be in my future.
The cold rain on Sunday put a damper on my plans to work outside. So I went shopping instead. Since my dog Maddie is going on six years old I decided to try feeding her a dog food that's for middle aged pets. Tractor Supply has a high quality food that is reasonably priced. I'm happy to report Maddie liked it.
Then I wandered around the local supermarket. Having food in the house is a good thing. I attempted a few selfies. I looked weird in all of them. People were looking at me funny so I stopped. I included the least weird one in my five pictures. I hope I can get more done next weekend.
