This weekend went very quickly. My daughter Kim, her boyfriend Jimmy and Gracie actually moved back in on Thursday. Over the weekend we got them settled and organized. There's still some work to do but I think we're in pretty good shape. I've been eating fast food since Thursday because we've been to busy to cook. Finally, on Sunday I was able to make a home cooked meal. It was just burgers and fries but it was nice to start to get back to normal again. Since Miss Gracie doesn't like burgers I made her a hot dog and hash browns. She ate everything and got her chocolate egg for dessert.
My live broadcast at Franklin Sussex Hyundai was really a lot of fun. We had some great prizes to give away including $1,000.00. Congratulations to Luca De Siervo from Stockholm. I loved the red carpet that lead into the brand new service area. I also got to warm up for my first pitch at Skylands Stadium in a few weeks. I think my form was pretty good but my release point needs work.
One major headache in my yard was finally taken care of this weekend too. I finally was able to get Chop and Drop Tree Service to come and remove two pine trees that were getting too big. I was worried they would fall on my neighbor's houses. Chop and Drop did a great job. Now my yard has more sunshine too.
Somehow I also found time to go to church, go swimming with Gracie in the pool and go food shopping. I'm hoping this coming weekend will be a little calmer and more routine.
