OK my epic weekend took 4 days. Steve's took only 2. However, an epic weekend is an epic weekend. On Saturday I visited my friends at Visions Federal Credit Union and opened a flex plus checking account. Gloria in the Augusta Branch does a great job. Now I have a checking account with no fees and I'm earning interest at the same time. Then I drove a few miles south on 206 to Subaru World of Newton. The turnout for the Kittatinny High School Marching Band Car Wash was great. My son's Legacy looked fantastic.
On Sunday I went to church and cooked corned beef hash. It needed more fresh pepper and onion but my family still enjoyed it. My dad made the best corned beef hash ever. My hash does not live up to dad's yet but I'm getting there. I forgot to take a picture. Sunday was also my son James 21st Birthday. He just wanted to have a laid back day. In the evening we enjoyed some cake. It's so nice when my kids and grand daughter are all together.
On Monday I spent the day with Gracie, Kim and Kim's boyfriend Jimmy. We had a great time at Mountain Creek. It's was a little cloudy but plenty of people were there. Gracie absolutely loved the little kids "Fishing Village." She is so precious. Watching her laugh and smile melts my heart. I also enjoyed my favorite ride: The Colorado River Rapids. I was the oldest person on line. My 57 year old body survived the trip. It was a great ride 30 years ago and it's still great today. Then we went to The Chatterbox. Our meal was great. All I can say is I will miss that place.
On Tuesday I did some errands then stained more of the deck and mowed the back lawn. No pictures needed. You're probably tired of seeing pictures of my on going deck restoration by now anyway.
