A new study out of Sweden concludes foods that have anti-inflammatory ingredients help us live longer. It was a pretty comprehensive study. Over a 16 year period 68,000 middle aged men and women who followed an anti-inflammatory diet were tracked. Over the 16 years those people had an 18 percent lower risk of death.
Foods high in anti-inflammatory properties include: Beer, Wine, Chocolate, Olive Oil, Fruits, Veggies, Coffee, Tea and Nuts. In moderation you can enjoy all of those guilt free. On the flip side processed red meat, organ meat, fries and soda are not good for us.
Well, I will certainly enjoy my coffee a little more this morning. But avoiding cheeseburgers and fries is just impossible for me. Do you think it will be OK if I just don't eat the roll?
