I have a great sense of accomplishment after this weekend. Two live broadcasts and two major projects around the house completed. I also made my favorite dinner which is grilled cheese and bacon. I only wish I remembered to get a tomato.
Saturday was Subaru Saturday at Subaru World of Newton. The showroom was busy and we were pretty busy outside too. It was chilly. Thank goodness Steve Allan loaned me his I Heart Media jacket so I'd be warm. He takes good care of me in spite of the fact that I say he has a "cute" grill. One other picture I had to include from Subaru World is the new Subaru family SUV the Ascent. Which looks pretty sharp.
When I got home Saturday afternoon I was very motivated so I finished closing the pool and finished staining my deck. I included a picture of the ladder I was climbing to get to the tough to reach parts of the deck for a reason. The ground was pretty soft and the ladder was a little unstable. Steve Allan thinks yoga is tough. I thought I was doing yoga stretching and trying to balance at the same time on that ladder!
On Sunday I did the weekend's second live broadcast at the Oktoberfest at Mountain Creek. This really is the number one Oktoberfest in the Northeast. All the meats and food cooking under an open fire outdoors was amazing. They even cook the pretzels over wood outdoors. My pretzel was soft and delicious. My favorite stop was the petting zoo. When I got home from the Oktoberfest I went food shopping, cleaned the house and by family member request made grilled cheese and bacon sandwiches for dinner.
After that action packed weekend Monday should be a breeze!
