My weekend in 5 pictures

I have always been thankful for my kids and all the years I've been on the air at WSUS.  This past weekend I celebrated the holidays with even more people I am very thankful are a part of my life. My coworkers and my cousins.

Friday Night at our I Heart Radio Christmas Party I had a great time.  While many companies are using the #metoo movement to scale back holiday parties our group of radio stations still goes above and beyond to make sure it's employees are appreciated.  In addition to having a wonderful time at the party itself and a nice breakfast in the morning.  I went home with two awesome gifts. A brand new toaster oven and some excellent bourbon. The toaster oven was the perfect gift because my old one has seen better days.  We started to enjoy the bourbon in my hotel room after the party and my guests at home will enjoy it throughout the holidays.

On Sunday I enjoyed a day in New York City with my cousins Tara and Bronwyn.  I am an only child but my dad had 7 siblings so I have many cousins.  Over the past 5 years we have made an effort to spend more time together and it's been wonderful. When you grow up without siblings there is really no one to give you a hard time and bust on you. Well, my cousins do a great job filling in. One example: because I'm an only child they call me "the serious cousin." See what I mean?

Whenever I get together with any of my cousins we spend a lot of time laughing and having fun. Yesterday was one of those days. We photo bombed each others selfies in front of the Rockefeller Center Tree. Then went to Times Square, Starbucks, had some real New York Pizza and even had more fun riding on the train together.

Tonight I will go to Christmas Eve service with my church family at the United Methodist Church in Matamoras. The next couple of days I will be home spending time with my 4 kids and grand daughter. All I can say is having wonderful coworkers, extended family and church family has me feeling very appreciative this Christmas.

     Merry Christmas everyone.
