My "Frenzied but Fun" Weekend in 5 pictures

This weekend was very hectic and went pretty fast. By the time Sunday Afternoon came around I was crashed on the couch. On Saturday we had our first ever 1023 WSUS Family Fun Day at Skylands Stadium. It was great to see all the young families there. I even went down the giant slide. Thank goodness it didn't break because I was seriously over the weight limit. When I got to the bottom I just sunk in. I can't wait to throw the nice Frisbee I got at the Visions Federal Credit Union Table around the yard too. Then it was on to Mike and Danielle's Wedding. Mike and his twin brother Alex were born 4 days before my son Matt was born. Mike's parents were our neighbors in Hamburg. Matt and both of the twins have been lifelong friends. The wedding was at the Old Clove Church in Wantage. I've driven past the historic church hundreds of times. It was wonderful to be a part of a wedding there. At the reception I sat with a two more of Matt's childhood friends and their wives. All of them made me feel very welcome. I had a great time. Thank you Matt, Jess, Heather, Adam, Frank and Brittany. They were all pretty excited when I asked them if I could include them in my "Weekend in Five Pictures." I got home really late from the wedding but got up just in time for church on Sunday Morning. It was the last day of Sunday School at Matamoras United Methodist Church and all the kids were recognized and participated in the service. Then all the Sunday School teachers and Youth Group leaders were recognized. I didn't expect to be called up in front of the congregation and recognized as a youth group volunteer. I was really touched by what Pastor Diane said. We all went home with a flower. When I got the tiny white begonia I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it. I brought it home to my grand daughter Gracie and we transplanted it into a bigger pot. On Friday Gracie was sad because all the dandelions were gone from my lawn after her dad mowed. I told her the little begonia was her flower and it will grow very big by the end of the summer. That flower made her very happy. After I crashed on the couch for a few hours I cooked a steak dinner to celebrate Mother's Day. My daughter Kim loves steak as much as I do. In my small kitchen everyone was cooking something to add to the delicious strip steaks. We were all very hungry so we just ate as we went along. I don't have my usual dinner picture. I did include a sweet Mother's Day picture of Kim and Gracie.
