Baby talk is good for your pet

I think most of us talk to our pets like they're little kids or babies. This is something I don't remember doing when I was younger but I do it now. Maybe it has something to do with having kids. Anyone who has a pet knows they do understand certain things you say to them. I'm convinced my dog Maddie actually understands a lot of what I say to her. It's either that or she's the only one in my family who listens when I talk. If you talk baby talk to your pet keep doing it. Dr. Joseph Cllona told the website Elite Daily: "Exaggerating pronunciation of vowels and consonants helps you bond with your pet. It shows that you want to connect with them." Your positive emotions make them feel safe and loved. So go ahead talk baby talk to your pet. It's good for them and it's probably good for you too.
