Those benefits include: A safer trip and lower transportation costs. A lower student tuition rate. High Point's tuition is over $16,000 per student. Port Jervis would charge about $10,000 per student. Montague students who graduate from Port Jervis High School would quality for in state tuition rates at both New Jersey and New York state universities and colleges. The study also said students would be exposed to a more diverse student body at Port Jervis High School. Montague's contract with High Point ends in 2024.
