Netcong woman claims N.J. State Trooper assaulted her after crash

Jeanine Toscano of Netcong has filed a lawsuit against New Jersey State Troopers in Sussex County. She is claiming trooper Dan McCarthy "grabbed her by the arm and shoved her head first into his patrol car and then on to the ground." Causing permanent injuries to her head and body. On September 15, 2019 Toscano crashed into a utility pole on Route 206 in Andover. When state troopers arrived on the scene soon after Toscano says McCarthy assaulted her and other state troopers did nothing to help her.
