I'm not sure how the Borough of Closter wound up owning the 2015 Maserati Quattroporte. My guess would be it was seized from a drug dealer or someone who couldn't pay their taxes. Right now it belongs to the Bergen County community and they have no use for it. According to a press release 100 percent of the sale price will go back to the Borough of Closter. The Maserati has just over 63,000 miles on it, runs well and is in good shape. It's white with a black interior and features a V8 engine. The company running the auction is called Municibid. Which does auctions of surplus items for thousands of communities across the country including busses, fire engines, ambulances and farm equipment.
