It looks like a messy winter storm is coming Sunday night in Monday

This Monday is a federal holiday so many people will be spared driving to work on slippery roads. As of today (Friday) The National Weather Service is watching a large winter storm heading for the southeastern U.S. that will then head north toward the mid Atlantic states. The storm is expected to arrive over New Jersey sometime Sunday night and continue into Monday. Forecasters are calling it a "significant east coast storm." That's expected to include snow, rain, sleet and strong winds. The storm is still in it's early stages so predictions could change. Later today the National Weather Service will be releasing a more detailed forecast. Meanwhile, AccuWeather is predicting about 3 to 6 inches of snow for northwest New Jersey. Starting Sunday night and continuing into Monday Morning.
