A huge 5 alarm fire burned for over 4 hours at Pepsi's largest New Jersey bottling plant in Piscataway last night. Two firefighters were injured fighting the fire. Fortunately, their injuries were not life threatening. The cause of the blaze is under investigation. A statement from Pepsi Media relations says the fire started outside the plant and all employees were evacuated safely. This morning, fire departments from Piscataway and surrounding towns are still pouring water on what's left of the plant. Mountain Dew is also bottled at the facility. Pepsi media relations did not comment on whether or not supplies of Pepsi products in the tri-state area would be disrupted.
