Hormel Food is voluntarily recalling more than 9,000 cases of peanut butter. Some of the cases were sent to stores in New Jersey and New York. The company is concerned about stainless steel fragments that may have broken off equipment used in the manufacturing process. Four different peanut butter products are being recalled. They are: Skippy Reduced Fat Creamy Peanut Butter n the 40 ounce jar, Skippy Reduced Fat Club which is a 2 pack of 40 ounce jars, Skippy Reduced Fat Chunky in the 16.3 ounce jar and Skippy Creamy Peanut Butter blended with plant protein 14ounce size. The company says there have been no reports of any complaints from customers. The stores the cases were shipped to have been notified.
