A new Monmouth University Poll confirms what most people I've talked to have been saying. Most New Jersey residents are tired of mask mandates and don't want them to return. Even though COVID cases have up ticked recently. Overall 2 out of 3 New Jersey residents across the political spectrum think mask mandates are not necessary. Half of Democratic voters in the poll opposed mandates. The poll also showed concern about getting sick from COVID is at an all time low. This week the city of Philadelphia returned to mask mandates. That same day Governor Murphy said he would be "shocked" if New Jersey put a similar mandate in place.
