Two of my sons went to Sussex County Community College. They both started at SCCC and have jobs they've very happy with today. Many years ago I took computer classes at SCCC as the radio industry transitioned from analog tape to digital production. SCCC continues to get better and grow. Our local community college has come a long way since I went there in 1992. even since my sons went there a few years ago. One thing that has never changed is the great tuition value SCCC offers. Students who start at Sussex County Community College save thousands of dollars in tuition costs. Those credits earned transfer to 4 year colleges and universities later on. The campus is beautiful, there are plenty of student activities and the faculty is dedicated to helping every student be successful. Tis Saturday's Open House is from noon to 3 on the Connor Green. Faculty and staff from all of SCCC's programs will be there in person to speak with potential students. Starting college anywhere can be pretty stressful. Having a chance to talk to faculty, staff and coaches in person can make that transition much easier. So bring all your questions. Then take a tour of the campus with a student ambassador. Then if you want to apply for admission you can. If you apply during Saturday's open house the application fee will be waved. I'll be there too. So come over and say hi!
