New Jersey State Police SWAT team called to High Point Country Club

New Jersey State Police have not released any official information about a SWAT team response to a residence at High Point Country Club yesterday. The president of the country club told New Jersey 101.5 the man who triggered the massive response lives in a condominium owned by her and her ex husband. Zhanna Kelly says they have been trying to evict the resident since the pandemic started but have not been able to because of New Jersey's eviction moratorium. Kelly says the man believes "aliens are coming to get him." Eyewitnesses say shots were fired after Kelly's ex husband tired to enter the unit to fix a leak that was damaging another unit on the first floor. Unverified reports about a hostage situation turned out to be untrue. So far cutting off the power and smoke bombs have not been enough to get the resident to leave the unit. State Police will only confirm they responded to the scene for a "barricaded subject." They would not release any additional information about what is going on. If you know feel free to let us know.
