The 4 main things to know about New Jersey's plastic bag ban

New Jersey's plastic and paper bag ban goes into effect today. Here are the 4 main things you should keep in mind. First, unless you plan to purchase re-usable bags at the store, you have to bring your own bags. Second, large stores can't sell you plastic or paper bags either. They can still provide thin plastic produce and deli bags. Third, you can bring your own used plastic and paper bags to the store and use them. Fourth, those re-usable plastic and canvas bags have to be washed occasionally. Good Luck New Jersey. I'll be doing all of my shopping in Pennsylvania.
