My "Mommy doesn't cook" Mother's Day Weekend in Pictures

This weekend I saw just how much my grand children love their mom. Especially my grand daughter Gracie. Who is now 6 years old. On Friday at school Gracie's class had a tea party for all their mommies. Then at church on Sunday Gracie was the first child to stand up and say just how much she loves her mommy. I was so proud of her. Of course she is also at the age where her honesty can be pretty hysterical. The Mother's Day card she made in class has a part that says "All about my mom." There are fill in the blank spaces for the children to answer. One of the spaces says "The best thing she cooks is." Well my daughter Kim has never been one who likes to cook. I cook and Gracie's dad cooks. So in the space Gracie was very honest. She wrote "Mommy doesn't cook." I've been laughing all weekend. I did cook some nice steak for all of us on Mother's Day. Kim's mom ordered pizza Saturday Night so no mommies cooked at our house this weekend. The other big weekend event was spring clean up day where I live in Matamoras. Kim and I were up early jamming my Jeep will all the big bulky trash we've been storing in the shed and basement all year. It's always nice to get rid of everything. I also picked up my baby vegetable plants at the local garden store. I hope you enjoy my pictures.
