A young female black bear that's been wandering around with a chicken feeder around her neck has finally been freed. State wildlife officials confirmed she was captured Sunday night and released Monday morning after the plastic cone was removed. According to a story in the New Jersey Herald, Frankford resident John McGinnis has been taking videos with his trail camera and pictures of the bear for about 8 months. McGinnis lives on Stempert Road.
