The pain at the pump continues for those of us who can't work from our basements or bedrooms at home. As more and more Americans head back to work at the office they get to drive by their local gas stations and watch gas prices climbing everyday. Only a few years ago gas was around $2.00 a gallon. Driving through Montague this morning the price of regular was up to $4.55 a gallon. According to AAA the average price in New Jersey is up to $4.50. That's almost $1.50 more than just a year ago. Things are even worse if you're buying gas in neighboring states. In Pennsylvania AAA says gas is up to $4.62 a gallon. In New York $4.76 a gallon. AAA says part of the blame is summer blend gasoline. The price of a barrel of crude oil is up to $109.00. Do you think prices will reach $5.00? Are you sick of this yet? Election Day is 6 months away. You know what you have to do.
