The Orange County District Attorney says for several years there has been a "direct pipeline" of fentanyl from Patterson to Port Jervis. This week two men from Patterson were arrested after selling fentanyl to under cover officers in Port Jervis. Khalif Johnson (22) and Zakhi Jenkins (19) are being held without bail. They face 20 years in prison if convicted. The 1,500 bags of fentanyl seized by the undercover operation had the potential to kill 3.000 people. The under cover task force included officers from Port Jervis Police, Orange County Sheriff and Orange County District Attorney's Office.
