A small release of chlorine at a Drew University swimming pool was enough to make several kids pretty sick. The kids were there for a soccer camp. A statement from officials in Madison says the 14 campers experienced symptoms of chlorine inhalation when a small amount of the pool chemical was accidently released. The kids ranged in age from 10 to 17. They were treated at the scene and taken to the hospital for further evaluation. Their symptoms included vomiting, nausea and shortness of breath. A spokesman for Drew University said there was no active leak and all of the pool's sanitation systems were working properly. No details about exactly how the chlorine accidently leaked were provided by officials or the university.
