It must have been quite a sight. A old school bus painted with rainbow colors and decorated with sashes and flowers was pulled over along Route 4 in Paramus this week. The problem wasn't the 60's Throwback Bus. It was the people riding on top in easy chairs. The groovy group was heading from Brooklyn to Mountain Creek in Vernon. A little while earlier the bus was spotted on the West Side Highway in New York City. We don't know if anyone was riding on top of the bus then. There were people riding on top of the bus by the time it got into Bergen County. So police stopped the "Partridge Family" and gave the driver a ticket. The group was warned not to do it again! Why would anyone want to ride on top of a bus with the sun beating down on them when it's 95 degrees? Who knows. I just hope they had a fun day at Mountain Creek when they got there!
