The State Senator who represents Sussex County says the state legislature should be holding hearings on the 10,000 COVID nursing home deaths in the state instead of concert ticket prices. In a press release Senator Steve Oroho said: "The priorities in Trenton are off the rails. There is more of an interest in investigating the price of admission to a Bruce Springsteen concert than there has ever been in unraveling the bureaucratic confusion that lead to the deaths of more than 10,000 people in nursing homes. Sussex County voters passed a referendum last November calling for an impartial investigation of New Jersey's nursing home deaths. The measure passed with an 80 percent majority. Ticketmaster's new in demand ticket price process has caused some floor tickets to the Boss's concerts to reach $4,000. The Speaker of New Jersey's Assembly has scheduled hearings on those high ticket prices.
