Five riders were injured last night while riding the El Toro roller coaster at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson. All of the injuries appear to be minor. First responders were called to the iconic wooden roller coaster at around 7:30 PM. One person on the ride says it felt like "a sudden bump." like the "hitting a pothole." Most of the people taken to the hospital had bumps and bruises according to a Jackson Township Police spokesperson. Several people on the ride suffered back and neck pain. One rider said she chipped a tooth. El Toro went into operation at 6 flags back in 2006. The ride has a 176 foot drop and reaches speeds of 170 miles per hour.
