The first full moon of fall will dominate the sky this Saturday, Sunday and Monday nights. Saturday night the moon will 98 percent full and skies over Northwest New Jersey will be clear. The "Blood Moon" or "Hunters Moon" will be 100 percent full Sunday and Monday Night. The extended forecast for Sunday and Monday nights is also calling for a mostly clear sky.
In our area the moon will start to rise after the sun sets at 6:34PM and will be visible until around 7:30 in the morning Sunday and Monday.
I love this stuff. My birthday is in June so my horoscope sign is Cancer. Which makes me a "moon child." I hope you take some time this weekend to enjoy this wonderful display from Mother Nature.
