My kitchen counter is already very cluttered. There's a coffee pot, electric frying pan, toaster oven, toaster, phone charging station, air fryer and now a special pot that boils water! This is something my daughter Kim purchased and made room for on Sunday. So why can't we just boil water for tea on the stove or in the microwave? According to Kim boiling water for tea on the stove is something people used to do in the 60's. Boiling water in the microwave is old too. So now we have a special pot that boils the water to just the right temperature for tea and turns off. I must admit the blue lights and the bubbles are fun to watch. Until the water gets to temp and the lights turn off.
We had some other fun this weekend too. Gracie and Christopher's dad made beautiful jack o lanterns out of the pumpkins we got last weekend at Idea Farm and Garden. I finally started to watch season 5 of Cobra Kia. It's been very enjoyable so far. The new bad guy is pretty scary.
Sunday afternoon Kim and I want to Shop Rite with Gracie and Christopher. You just never know when one of them is going to do something picture worthy. This time it was Christopher. He always wants to help. So when Kim and I were taking the bags of groceries out of the trunk of my car he reached out his little hands. He carried three of the lighter bags to help us. That little boy is really something. I love him so much.
