Pennsylvania state legislator Anthony DeLuca won by a landslide this past Tuesday Night. He was re-elected with 85 percent of the vote The only problem is that he passed away last month. At that point it was too late to take his name off the ballot. Although at first glance it might look like voters were oblivious. Which is true in some cases. It is believed the main reason DeLuca won so overwhelmingly is because voters did not want the independent candidate to win.
DeLuca was Pennsylvania's longest serving state legislator. He was 85 ears old. The district he serves is overwhelmingly Democratic. His only opposition was a Green Party candidate.
