The grand opening of a brand new Terminal A at Newark Airport had been planned for tomorrow. Now the opening has been pushed back to early January. The Port Authority says the reason for the delay is "The fire alarm and security system have yet to pass their final tests." Back on November 15th Governor Murphy hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony at the state of the art new terminal. Which cost about $2.7 Billion. The Port Authority says any issues with the final tests will "be resolved shortly."
