Let's hope we have a lot of clear nights this month. According to the Adler Planetarium Venus, Jupiter, Saturn and Mercury will be visible to the naked eye all month long. Here are some of the highlights: Tonight will appear to almost touch just after sunset in the southwest sky. On March 14th 4 planets will appear in a vertical line in the western sky. Mars will be at the top of the line. Then you'll see Uranus, Venus and Jupiter. In the early morning hours of March 24th Saturn will hover near the horizon for about 40 minutes. Just before sunrise. On March 27th Mercury will be hanging in the night sky It will be visible into early April. One of these days I'm going to get a telescope.
