Spring clean up weekend is always one of my favorites. Decluttering and straightening up motives me to do other projects. It also makes me feel less stressed. I was up early Saturday Morning bringing everything upstairs and taking a few things out of the shed. When I left for the DPW the back of my Jeep was full. Then I drove to the Salvation Army in Port Jervis to donate some clothes. It was such a beautiful morning. Perfect for ice cream! So I took a break and took Christopher to Turkey Hill to pick out his favorite. It was chocolate chip cookies and cream in a sugar cone. Great choice! Then Christopher helped me plant some tomatoes.
On Sunday it was Gracie's turn to have grandma and grandpa all to herself. So after church we took her to lunch at Wendy's. Then I spoke to my cousin Roger about my up comming trip to Phoenix. It's going to be in the 90's while I'm visiting. We're going tubing on the Salt River and to a Diamondbacks game. Later in the day I continued working in the garden. Then put together a quick meatloaf for Sunday dinner. My meatloaf is different every time I make it. This time I found an unopened pouch of taco seasoning and used it.
After we cleaned up the dinner dishes my daughter put the bag of garbage out on the front deck. The plan was to put it in the trash can in the morning. We heard a noise on the deck just before bed. There was a huge raccoon feasting on our garbage right outside my front door. Now I have to be careful when I leave for work at 3:45. I hope you enjoy my pictures this week.
