I got up early Saturday morning to finish getting the pool ready for summer. The water was cold but I finished what had to be done. It was pretty chilly for the rest of the weekend so I never returned to the water. However, that wasn't the case for my grand children. They love the water like a couple of fish! So as "chickens" mom, dad and me watched from the deck Gracie and Christopher enjoyed having the pool all to themselves. My daughter wasn't feeling well so I did spend a lot of time helping her with the kitchen and the kids. My little grandson loves to help with everything. Everyday he goes out to water the garden with me and this weekend he was very proud to help me unload the dishwasher. I cherish these moments more than you will ever know. We did try something new to eat for dinner Saturday night. We got some good coupons in the mail so we tried the local Popeye's Chicken. I've heard all kinds of opinions about Popeye's. I think the family meal deal that we had was really good. After that we watched reruns of The Jeffersons, Sanford and Son and I love Lucy on Pluto TV. After all these years they're still hilarious. Sunday is usually my Netflix night. The last few Sundays I didn't have a chance to binge watch anything. Last night we decided to pick up binge watching Manifest. My daughter Kim sat up with Denise and me until 11 o'clock. We're still in season 1 and it's getting really good. I hope you enjoy the pictures below.
