I'm very grateful all of my kids think Father's Day has meaning. I saw three of my four kids yesterday and my grand children too. My oldest son is not in the USA right now but he did reach out. On Sunday Morning I woke up to a very clean house and a very tired daughter. So I took my grandson Chris over to my son Matt's house. On the way we stopped and got a couple of onion bagels with butter. My son James came over to Matt's as well and all four of us just relaxed until early afternoon. When I returned home Chris enjoyed some time with his dad while I prepared chicken cutlets. I bought the fresh chicken at Adams Fair Acre Farms on Friday. So I couldn't wait to try it. We really enjoyed it. After dinner my kids mom Denise offered to take me out for dessert. I just wanted a dish of vanilla soft serve. It was very nice to go out after dinner. We've decided to do that every week from now on.
Just a few more things. On Friday after my live broadcast I was starving. I tried the Sicilian Pizza at Adams Fair Acre Farms. That was fantastic too! I also enjoyed more time planting with Christopher. Saturday afternoon we transplanted the flowers I bought for only $2.11 at Adams. So it was a weekend of great Sicilian Pizza, onion bagels, fresh chicken cutlets and vanilla soft serve. Nothing too extravagant but they're all my favorites.
There was one disappointment this weekend. My microwave oven finally died. It did serve us well. I bought it when Matt and Kim were in high school. So it has lasted more than 10 years.
