Simon and Jekyll were first tagged almost a year ago off the southeast U.S, Coast. Since then marine biologists have been tracking their 4,000 mile journey up the Atlantic to the coast of Canada. Dr. Bob Heuter chief scientist at Ocearch says both sharks have pretty much been swimming in tandem all the way. Scientists have always believed great white sharks lived a solitary existence. So this is very rare indeed. The next step is to check the blood samples taken when they were tagged to see if the two big sharks are brothers. This could be a new shark attack movie in the making.
