Bradley Pierre of Closter just admitted he carried out of the largest insurance fraud schemes in New York State History. The 41 year old resident of Closter pled guilty to several charges including conspiracy to commit bribery and defrauding the I.R.S. The scheme went on from 2008 to 2021. Pierre illegally ran several clinics in New York. He falsely claimed that the clinics were run by licensed doctors. Court records say he stole more than $20 Million from the clinics by simply transferring money into his own accounts and used clinic accounts for his own expenses. Some of the other ways he defrauded insurance companies included steering prescriptions to pharmacies in exchange for kick backs and ordering fake MRI's. The total amount of money scammed by Pierre is believed to be $60 Million.
