Four N.H.L. players including two New Jersey Devils are facing sexual assault charges in London, Canada. The case dates back to 2018 while they were members of Canada's World Junior Team. Two other N.H.L. players that were on the team have also been charged with sexual assault. Michael McLeod and Cal Foote are the Devils players. Carter Hart of the Philadelphia Flyers and Dillon Dube of the Calgary Flames are the other two N.H.L. players. Lawyers for all four players say they plan to plead not guilty and said their clients had done nothing wrong. All four men were 20 at the time the alleged sexual assault took place. All of the players have taken a leave of absence from their current teams.
