I come from a family of die hard hockey fans. I'm the only New Jersey Devils fan in the group of Rangers and Islanders fans. This past weekend Met Life Stadium was packed with 72,000 fans each of two nights to watch a real NHL game outdoors. A couple of my cousins went to last night's exciting overtime game between the Islanders and Rangers. The Rangers came back from two goals behind to tie the game in the third period. Then won in overtime. Which made my Ranger fan cousins who were there very happy. The only other comment I saw was how cold it was! Saturday Night the New Jersey Devils won their game against the Flyers on Saturday Night. The Jonas Brothers were the pre-game entertainment. What really matters here is that hockey is alive and well in New Jersey. On back to back nights they packed a football stadium to see their favorite teams play. As great as all of this was I don't like being out in the cold. I think I'll continue to enjoy going to Devils games in the warm and cozy Prudential Center!
