New Jersey Advance Media used data from the state Office of Higher Education to come up with a list of the hardest and easiest 4 year colleges to get into. Centenary University in Hackettstown tops the easy list with a 96.7 percent acceptance rate. The next highest acceptance rate is 94 percent at Felician University in Bergen County. Then William Patterson University in Wayne comes in third with a 92.5 acceptance rate.
The hardest university to get accepted to was Princeton. Only 4.5 percent of applicants to Princeton are accepted. Stevens Tech in Hoboken is second hardest with a 44 percent acceptance rate. The College of New Jersey in Ewing is the third hardest with 62.1 percent of applicants getting accepted.
My alma mater Seton Hall University was somewhere near the middle with a 78.9 acceptance rate.
