Good news New Jersey. Experts say less rain this spring means fewer mosquitoes this summer. The National Weather Service says rainfall in North Jersey was about an inch and a half less than normal. Since they breed in standing water less water means fewer mosquitoes. This could all change if we get above normal rainfall in May and June. So far, experts like Kris McMorland of the Morris County Mosquito Control Commission say "we're in good shape."
