It's been 155 years since anyone was able to set foot on the sands of Ocean Grove Beach on a Sunday Morning. That all changed this past Sunday. When the beach opened under sunny skies. So why the change? The members of the Ocean Grove Camp Association own the land. They're a United Methodist Community. For the past 155 years they haven't allowed anyone on the beach until the afternoon after church was over. The State Department of Environmental Protection says restrictions like that violate state law. So the association agreed to open the beach while the matter is decided in court.
