I had a long list of things I hoped to get done around the house this weekend. Those small projects included mowing the front and back lawn. Buying more flowers for my outside pots. Filling in the holes Millie dug in the yard. Clearing up the green water in my pool. Hanging summer curtains in the living room. All of those chores were done successfully. There isn't a picture for all of them. That's O.K. because I'm feeling real happy about the condition of my house today. Hanging the summer curtains was especially nice. I found the curtains in the linen closet a few weeks ago. They belonged to my mom. Years ago she showed me how to hang curtains. They needed to be washed. Now they're in my bay window again.
In between all the projects Denise and I enjoyed a meal on my freshly rehabilitated grill. This week I grilled center cut pork chops and topped them with a slice of cheese. The weekend also included starting a new binge watch on Netflix too. I stayed up until 2AM watching "Your Honor" with Bryan Cranston Saturday into Sunday. Another one of those shows you just can't stop watching.
Meanwhile, my grand kids were away for the weekend at an indoor water park. They have been looking forward to their little vacation with mommy for months. I included a few pictures my daughter sent me last night. I hope you had a great weekend too.
