Federal Prosecutors say 44 year old Nikenson Jean Mathurin created fake applications for small businesses that did not exist. So he could collect millions of dollars in COVID relief money from the Small Business Administration. U.S. Attorney Phillip Sellinger announced the Sparta man's indictment this week. Mathurin has been charged with three counts of wire fraud and one count of money laundering.
